The house is actually in the Charente, France. | |  | This is a very beautiful, very traditional imposing house sitting within its own beautiful grounds of 5 acres with private 10x5 pool.
Within easy walking distance of Aubeterre which is one of the most charming villages in France which has all necessary shops and restaurants, as well as riding school,local swimming (river beach), etc.
There are numerous bedrooms and a self-contained cottage consisting of 2 bedrooms and its own kitchen and bathroom.
(Please note that the cottage will not be let except with the house so there will only ever be one group on the site.)
However the property is entirely suitable and very flexible for lets of groups of 9 to 12 (or smaller), although the property can in fact accommodate 18 adults easily.
There are 5 acres of garden.
The bedrooms are spacious and most of them overlook the beautiful lawn and gardens. There is one bedroom on the ground floor to the rear of the house with its own bathroom.
There are various large reception rooms, a large fully equipped kitchen and a south facing terrace (with outdoor grill). The house has 2 separate bbq facilities in the grounds.
